Most cost-effective/recommended upgrade from 3 VIN license, please?

Hi,

Have currently got a HEX-V2 3 VIN from Gendan (UK distributor), all three slots have been used up (one was my mistake when I mis-read the VIN prompt during a scan).

Changing cars around a little in the family; so having an extra 3 VIN slots may be useful.

I'm a little lost browsing Gendan's website, as to what's most cost effective route. It looks like £169 to upgrade from 3 VINs to 10 VINs. Can I do this via Ross-Tech direct for $169 US dollars instead?

Or, I see there's the possibility of moving up to the Hex-Net and 10 VIN at the same time. I can't find this on Gendan's website, but it looks like it's possibly $249 (USD) via Ross-Tech direct? If I go for this, do you post internationally?

That's not possible. The licensing mechanism only supports 3, 10, and Unlimited VINs, so a one-step upgrade from a 3-VIN license would get you a 10-VIN license, which would mean 7 new/unused VIN slots.

1) The "extra 3 VIN slots" refers to the chopping and changing of VAG cars around the family, I thought I'd spare everyone the boring detail of who's getting what. Yes, would leave me with 4 extra on top ((10-3)-3) of my new "need".

2) Thank you, the exchange rate means it makes more sense to come to yourselves direct then.

3) I must have mis-read this - https://store.ross-tech.com/shop/RetCAN/ - on second look it refers to an upgrade route from an interface that I'm not familiar with (I've only had VAG cars, and therefore VCDS, since 2020).

Right, your interface is "newer" than the interfaces below.
