I am trying to read a DTC, but I am not able to connect to the Engine ECU, via hex used the autoscan and direct to the control module but no module found, I am able to connect to the HVAC module okay. My Foxwell OBD scanner also does not connect. I have seen mention of baud rate being an issue on some A2 ECUs, can anyone offer advice?

Thanks.

That looks like some kind of interference on the K-line (the single wire diagnostic bus in that car).

What works in this car and what doesn't?

Does this car have any aftermarket equipment? E.g. an aftermarket radio, or perhaps a GPS tracking device?

It does have an aftermarket radio, should I try it with the radio disconnected?

Thanks, that did the trick.
Post a new scan please.

Then find the K-Line coming from the car to the radio and make sure it isn't connected to anything on the radio.
