A6 (Facelift) 2015 LED retrofit

Hi,

NEED URGENT HELP!!!

I have RETROFITED the LED Lights (not MATRIX) for the A6 2015 facelift. We have an issue with the MAIN beams. These won't activate. The DRL's and Turning Signal lights work fine.

The wiring was done in accordance to the latest ELSAWIN Current Flow Diagrams.

We have coded the BCM using copied Long Coding from A6 with exact specification except the LED lights are different.

Is there anyone that has an IDEA of how these LIGHTS work and if there are any Adaptions that are required to get these LED Main Beams to work.

Copying the whole BCM coding from another car is generally ill-advised on newer cars.

Please post an Auto-Scan so people can see what BCM is installed and how it's configured.

If you have it, please post an Auto-Scan from the car as it was originally, prior to the retrofit. If you don't have this, please post the Coding-Log.txt file from your Debug folder.

Looks like the only difference is in the first two bytes. Unfortunately, only two bits of those bytes are currently documented.

In Byte 0, you turned off 3 bits and turned on 1. Bit 5 is front fog lights installed. Do you no longer have them? If they're still present, the first thing I'd do is turn that bit back on, then play with the other four one at a time.

In Byte 1, you turned on two bits, neither of which is documented. You may also want to play play with those two bits, one at a time.

So that's 6 bits to test; not really a major undertaking.
