5F Information Electronics has the following DTC:
03276 - Please Check Software Version Management
Code does not clear out.
Start VCDS
[Select]
[5F-Information Electr.]
[Adaptation-10]
Read channel 15.
You should find 4 fields of data, with the first one being listed as "count". Make a note of this number. With my customer, he stated the count value was 32710.
Go to the XOR calculator page.
Back in VCDS, on 5F's adaptation channel 15, set the new value to the the XOR output value, 46612 in this example. Then click on [Test] and [Save] in VCDS. My caller had to do a MMI reset and then the 03276 - Please Check Software Version Management cleared out of the 5F module.
Once again, I see what it happening here:
0111111111000110 = 32710
1100100111010010 = 51666
1011011000010100 = 46612
So what is the importance of 51666? Just a random value like 40168?

You should find 4 fields of data, with the first one being listed as "count". Make a note of this number. With my customer, he stated the count value was 32710.
Go to the XOR calculator page.
- Set both inputs and the output to "decimal (base 10)"
- First input, put in count value, 32710 in this example
- Second input, put in 51666
- Click [Calculator XOR]
- Output in this example is 46612
