Good morning!
Very new to VCDS and coding however not unfamiliar with the process involved, suspect my failings are interoperability of bits and sadly a cross check on the Wiki still has me stuck;
I am trying to add Cruise Control to my MK3 VW Caddy with Indicator Stalk along with a MFSW from a Golf MK5 and have the log output beblow;
I believe I have the Cruise Control coded in correctly however ive got nothing on my steering wheel, no horn and no buttons work along with the errors;
267264 - Control Module Incorrectly Coded
365080 - Controls in Steering Wheel
My best guess is that the Mk5 wheel is too old (LIN 1.3) to work with my newer instrument controls (LIN 2.0) however I have not been able to confirm this. Would I have better success with a MK6 steering wheel?
Interesting is that I get the same error (267264) when I put my original wheel back in so maybe that is a red herring?
