Hi, I just mounted power folding mirrors from Caddy4 in my Caddy3

I have used door control modules from Passat CC 3C8959701 (3C0959793C) and 3C8959702 (3C0959792C).
Mirrors work fine but windows operate opposite. Up is down, down is up. When I turn the ignition off (with windows closed) and leave my Caddy for a while windows opens because car "thinks" windows are open. Same with remote. When I close and hold windows open, when I open and hold windows close.
I alse have one door control module from Golf6 5K0959702C (5K0959792A) and it behaves the same way. My car is LHD. When I change both mirrors to RHD windows switches work ok, but folding mirrors go crazy and left is folded and right one not;)

My car is utility vehicle and maybe I need to change something in CAN-Gateway or ... I don't know.

Hi Marty,
I would read the Wiring diagrams and stick these white cables in a reverse order for the motors.

Similar to Wolfgang's suggestion, I wonder if the motors can be removed from the modules and swapped left to right?

Please post the pre-retrofit and current condition Auto-Scans at some point.

OK. I will try to swap motors (left to right and right to left). They can be removed from the controller. I will post autoscans after I'm done with swapping. Now I have Touran driver/left side controller and left/passenger controller from Golf6 (mentioned above). It's a temporary solution;)

OK sounds good. I'd like to know if that motor swap (reversing polarity without swapping wires) works but please do post scans because we may be able to spot a conflict.

OK. Swapping doesn't work. I took the motor from left/driver to the right/Passenger side/module and it is the same. Up is down, down is up. What more... If I click once UP the window moves "1mm" and after second click window goes to (let's say) half down. If I click DOWN window goes up to the end. I was also trying to rotate 180° the stator (metal cover of the motor) and It started to work fine (up - up, down - down) but no auto opening and closing. Then I did something and the motor stopped working;) I also thought that I can re-solder this "connections" at the picture below.

Well...As I don't like not knowing something I opened the motor (the one "broken") and saw that brushes (I don't know if this is the same name in English) left their space in black plastic cover. So I changed polarity and put back brushes. Not easy job to do;) Tomorrow I'll test it and let you know.

CC door controllers lower and raise the glass slightly when the door is opened or closed

I also have got 1T0 959 701AF (not tested yet) (and AA - tested - works ok) and looking for 1T0 959 702S but they don't support folding on remote... or am I missing something?
Besides I can rotate a window switch and opening and closing is correct. But it is just a workaround not a solution. I assume that the car still "sees" windows open when closed and opposite. I don't have time to check it. Bad weather, wife, kid, 2 dogs;)
Well truly said I thought it can be changed in VCDS Adaptation, but there are so many parameters so I don't know if I could find it and if ... change it.

I also repaired my broken motor and works ok when UP to Lower and DOWN to rise the window. Rotating stator makes the motor works for 1 press - 1 sec working motor but in a correct way UP - UP, DOWN - DOWN;)

Hi,

Today I installed 1t0959701AF/5k0959793C driver side and works ok. Passenger side is 5K0959702c/5k0959792b (from golf6) and window works opposite. So I rotated the stator and now temporary passenger Window works ok but no auto opening and close. Can You or someone tell me how I can make folding on remote work with this module (1t0959701AF)?
