I have a 2019 VW crafter.
Over the last week or so I have been getting repeated:
1389 Function Restricted due to insufficient Voltage
U1400 FAULT_VBAT_BUSMON_LOW
I think this gives the description, although my '1389' is different to the belows '31896'.
The battery went flat, it was jumped then drove the vehicle - for around 4 hours, I then removed and charged the battery (as it was still completely flat), and put in a different but temporary battery and drove for a few hours on that, I did not setup this temporary battery using VCDS, as I put back the original battery shortly afterwards, I received the error code on several occassions during this whole time ... has the system got confused ? and should I carry out any procedures with VCDS ... or will it just sort itself out over the next few weeks.
