Yes, you can trigger a Regen with VCDS, but it will also take place autonomously once you fix everything that an issue like sensors, fuel, exhaust and ECU issues, and you drive while satisfying all the required conditions.

Ok. Differential pressure Sensors were both replaced but no change. Will need to see what else. Thanks

Replaced with adaptation to the best of my knoweldge. There is something needs to be done with vcds ..something to do with resetting values. VCDS shows process "completed" succesfully. Drive around and get
-8863 Particulate Filter
P2459 00-Regen Frequency.

This is same result with original sensors, hence my conclusion is not a sensor issue, unless i'm doing something wrong or missing a servcie manual procedure step. The new sensor i got from Kerma TDI, reputable source I believe.

Search for distance since last Regen and cancellation of regen or similar terms in your controller.... If no faults are present, there should be some clues as to why regens aren't happening. Any airflow/fuel/egt/pressure issues will usually get in the way of it taking place

So there Is hope that issue gets fixed upon injector replacement. If been having fuel pressure issues, may be keeping from regenerating.

Controller as in the various controller you have in your vehicle.... Engine, Transmission, HVAC, etc.... those are controllers.

Frequency = definition of the word.... how often something takes place.....

INstalled new injector. Now i'm just waiting for coolant flange and temp sensor to install those and fire it up. If fuel pressure issues can affect DPF Regen Frequency issues, maybe by getting this low fuel pressure fixed can fix the DPF problem. Thanks and i'll provide update.

Thanks for reminder. I haven't yet as battery is off. Had to remove it to get to coolant flange. But will do.

UGH! Put everything back together. No water leaks, no gas leaks. Purged fuel system with vcds. Car started first attempt. Drove for about 4 miles and same result; Fuel Rail Pressure Too Low. It came up twice.

Where are you showing the injector deviations that you were going to log?
Have you tested fuel supply\pressure to the filter canister?
Log fuel pressure (actual vs specified) to see if it shows a potential HPFP issue across the range, not just the snapshot provided by the FF data.

Here deviations-sorry if didnt do right. I have tested supply/pressure before filter and after filter. I get 59-60 psi. As far as log actual vs specified, working on how to do that. Thanks
