Any suggestions or ideas. I replaced the clock spring, but, I cant get the original code to match exactly as it shows no communication with the steering angle. Any suggestions on how to code or if I need to get a different clock spring?

Did you replace the CS with the same PN? New , oem and genuine? or a ebay used replacement?

00778 - Steering Angle Sensor (G85): No Signal/Communication​

Possible Causes​

  • Steering Angle Sensor (G85) faulty
  • Steering Angle Sensor (G85) configured incorrectly due to replacement control modules or incorrect coding
  • Buggy ABS controller software

Possible Solutions​

  • Check Steering Angle Sensor (G85)
  • Check Steering Angle Sensor (G85) location and configuration on the vehicle in question
  • Check ABS controller software per TPIs, TSBs and recall publications .

Special Notes​

  • When found in the VW Jetta, Beetle and Beetle Convertible with MK60EC1 ABS control modules numbers; 1K0 907 379 BM and 1K0 907 379 BS may have a flash update for model years 2014-2015. US Market RVU # 45D7 (TPMS/ESC Software (FED_EMS) includes the following DTCs: 00778 and 01325

I am thinking this may be the issue as CCS is on lever and not steering wheel
Original code for Clockspring is 498A140000 - right now i can only code it to 488A100000, when I try to update the code it gives me a code 31

569BC dont Work for your Car.

You need a clock spring with internal steering angle Sensor.

Look for 569H so you can be Sure it will work
