No they have not. There's 2 manufacturers. Continental and Lear. Continental hardware is index M and that has CAN extended. Lear is index hardware index F which has been used from 2013 onwards and it also has CAN extended.

And there is no AN gateway for MQB cars. For gateway part nbr 7N0 there is AN index as well, so are you sure you're not mixing up now different platforms? AFAIK 2016 NA Passat is not MQB car.

Yeah my car seems to use a different gateway with a different part number. I will remove my above post for inaccuracy.
