I've heard that GM and other manufacturers have terms and conditions in their "Smart Driving" or similar programs that allows them to sell information about driving habits to 3rd parties who can in turn, sell it to insurance companies.
Can and does the Audi Connect feature provide similar capability, and is anyone aware if Audi is selling data of your driving habits to 3rd parties? If so, can Audi Connect be disabled with VCDS to prevent your personal driving habits from being recorded and shared? Is removing the app from your mobile device sufficient to eliminating the transmission of vehicle data to 3rd parties?
I attempted to review the 21 pages of the Audi connect Terms of Service (on my phone's screen) and nearly went blind with all the legal mumbo jumbo. Couldn't comprehend it and wonder if there are valid concerns about whether users data is being marketed to insurers.
