alh injector pump

on a alh if you use a injector pump from a manual to auto what are the consequences, low power or trouble code?

I know a lot of people with manual trans ALH vehicles want to upgrade to the ALH pump from an automatic since it it can generate higher pressures. I'm not 100% sure, but as I recall, a friend of mine who use to own a junk yard did put pumps in from a manual to an automatic without issues (warning lights). My gut feeling is, under heavy load, the engine may not product peak/max power.

You will get shift issues that are slightly noticeable in the automatic, from delay of the injection timing.

Advance of the timing usually helps hide it.

Nox values increase when using this setup of a manual pump in an automatic car.
