Those are legitimate VCDS systems, yes. However, I would not recommend purchasing one for the purpose you've described this this thread because VCDS cannot "hack" your radar for you.

Those are legitimate VCDS systems, yes. However, I would not recommend purchasing one for the purpose you've described this this thread because VCDS cannot "hack" your radar for you.

Mike, the choice of words you use are off the scale, Why would you say Hack? All I am asking is to Code the Radar that is a later version. Space Walker will help me if you approve my account.

UWE can you help, as I have seen your posts as well, your pretty switched on in this area. Is there any way a Different Radar will work just by coding ?

No, and the radar OP is suggesting as replacement looks to be older mrr1 radar. That is good for paperweight.

Anyway coding will not do it, needs a bit more to be done. Google will help here as the solution is made public some years ago. However VW has made it way way more difficult now.

As many members and Ross-Tech employees have already said to you, this forum is run by Ross-Tech to support Ross-Tech VCDS customers so if you want our help you have to join our community by being an owner of a legal VCDS.

However, you've also been told that the radar you are asking about will need its firmware hacking, which VCDS cannot do - so it seems to me this forum is not the place to get your questions answered?
