At a loss.....

Just been setting uo a fresh machine while my Toughbook has an upgrade and hit problems :-(

Machine is running a fresh installation of Windows 10 Home. No other software installed.

I downloaded the latest Release 23.11 and had no trouble installing.

I am using a genuine, registered HEX-V2 cable.

On loading VCDS up I opened options and ran the test. Here is the response given, suggesting I need to do a firmware update>

Upon clicking OK VCI Config opens and I see the following....

I can't get past this point.

Any ideas welcomed.

I don't see the interface serial number. write us a number starting with HV2-xxxxx or a photo of your Hex V2, please.

That's a clone/pirate copy. It cannot be registered.

Look at the web link in the second screenshot. Contradicts the statement made by the op "I am using a genuine, registered HEX-V2 cable."
