Hi
i have posted on support but some of you guys maybe able to help.
Bottom line is i'm trying to see by the Data if the cam timing is correct
vw polo 1.2 2016/17 with correlation fault p0016 , I am told the cambelt has been replaced when checking this fault,, and the Phaser, & the small gauze filter.
I myself have changed the oil and the oil filter and wired the solenoid that controls the cam timing and i can hear it click, i have not checked The cam and crank sensor or the wiring see logged data first, with this post it looks like the cam sensor is working and i have rpm so i think the crank sensor is working plus the engine runs.
My question to support is some of the Vcds Terminology can you explain it's description starting with the 1st logged data, i can see the camshaft adjustment bank 1 intake says specified & actual which is a fault as not getting specified Degrees & IDE00182 Camshaft adaptation intake bank 1: phase position -15.67 ° ( looks like it is retarded )
& IDE00406 Camshaft RPM 356.5 /min looks like the cam sensor is working. The 2nd log data
I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT IF THE ENGINE CAMSHAFT TIMING IS NOT CORRECT BASED ON THE DATA LOGS DO THEY CONFIRM IT IS NOT CORRECT.
Regards

ALSO i tried to do OUTPUT test for the cam intake bank 1 to see if on test it would advance and retard but VCDS says refused by control module message
