Hello hope you guys doing well. I need to get some solid data before go crazy with that vehicool:)
Briefing.
09 Jetta (2010) 2.5 , auto, esp, plain version.
-Lack of data or missing something (do not remember code)- 50%solid code from ABS comes, returns after spinning wheels or after few miles of driving,
- removed 379CD and installed 379AH
- can not code- rejects and stays solid with more then 12 zeros if not 30 :)
My question is :
- can old used ABS module be replaced ?
- is there VIN written inside ?
- is it possible to change vin in ABS ?
or maybe these ABS units are repairable as older BOSCH es?
thank you ,

* new user so might do some things little different.

Yes.

Parts of the VIN are embedded in the coding for the module.

is it possible to change vin in ABS ?
Yes, via coding.

The following threads should be applicable to this car & the ABS in it:

-CD was H35 and had 18 byte coding. -AH is H30 and has 19 byte coding. So you should just be able to add two zeros to the end of the original coding, I think.

I think, during my desperado attempt to get it out of my head I did that kind of mathematics.
I did some home working yesterday with that Long coding data, it was hardcore.
