check harness connector, and rocket connector. low resistance and high resistance might be little confusing. low resistance means that connection is easier than expected for example something giving additional flow for current. there used to be safety mechanism grounding- or closing loop to prevent accidental high electrical discharge like from clothing for example . It could cause such reading - and must say that often get confused with resistance myself:)

Ok I'll pull the plug off the airbag module and test for continuity between that and plug that goes into airbag. Sorry I'm not the greatest with electrical

some modules have all wires yellow. without diagram is blind walking, get diagram , alldata sells that info for 20bucks, get a good magnifier, to find pin numbers on connectors and run the test. it has nothing to do with electricity it just tool use, diagram will show you which pin , what wire iif colored and where it goes, then you will see if connects to anything, or splits. part of a job.')

Just got the wiring diagram color's look different than mine tho? Going to double check in morning. 3 wire connector on diagram shows Grey, red and brown my 3 wire connector is black, yellow and brown. The 2 wire connector on diagram shows yellow and black while mine is brown and red. Crappy pic of plugs just what I had on my phone for now

hello
please read instructions, training with airbags prior work.

disconected connectors , be ware that Multimeter in some cases CAN DEPLOY AIRBAG!!! do not measure harness or bag connected to airbags,

C(controller)16 - I(igniter)4 = ? continuity , and then same wire either side to ground and between wires to connector I 1,2,5,- can not have continuity

C16 - I 4 cross 2.1.5 to see if not connected by some mechanical pinch or something

C 17- I 5 continuity and then I5 to ground no continuity and between I 1 2 4

C 24 - I 1 etc between 5 4 2 and ground NO to 3 it goes somewhere I do not see

C25 - I2 and I 1 5 4 as previous

these connectors have names I called em C - controller I - igniter

see what brown 3 is doing I do not see on diagram, might go to other airbag and back to C it could be some diagnostic wire.

If continuity and cross continuity
if continuity of wires is good , no cross continuity, airbag ignter connector inspected and no melt, no visual inperfections.
airbag either was tried to be launched or faulty - no good-

I tested for continuity between 16 on connector of module to harness side of airbag red and got 000. Tested pin 17 on harness to Grey on harness side to airbag got 000. So looks like wires going to igniter 2 are good. Trying to do the other cross ones now. Brown wire goes to a side igniter

You have to download a app called imugur upload the pics to there and then copy the permalink and past it into the spot on here that is for pictures. I just pulled the bag down it may have gotten wet at one point

Just replaced the bag and still getting same code! Not sure even what else it could be at this point? Something inside airbag module?
too many dynamics.
-wires traced - OK
-connector inspected ? - ( )
-igniter used ?

can you see that connecting metal on 2 pins on the right ?
Ok I just tried it again from probing the connection looks like I bent the pin. I straightened it with a small pick and light is gone!! Sorry that was my fault! Thank you so much for all the help.

So for anyone in future with this problem connectors definitely go bad if bag is tried to deploy and possibly bag itself.
