Airbag igniter which is it?

I have a code for the airbag igniter on passenger side on my 13 Jetta s 2.0 is there a way to tell which igniter it would be? Had a code for the seatbelt igniter as well played with the clip under seat and it went away. Thanks for any insights on this!

I'm pretty confident that's the igniter for the airbag in the dash.

"Short to Ground" bothers me more than say, "Resistance too high" or "Resistance too low" would. Do not clear that fault with anyone in the path of that airbag. @Jef may want to chime in here.

To ad to it the driver side seat belt igniter was unplugged for some reason. Could it be they unplugged the passeger airbag aswell in the dash?

You need to view the live data for the igniter and VISUALLY inspect the wiring harness for damage.

Pull that location up under Advanced Measuring Values and it most likely it is going to be showing "short circuit to Ground (GND)". You need to see about visually locating the issue and repair as per the factory repair manual. I'm guessing a wire has been damaged, maybe chaffed along a metal edge or something. You may be able to pull the glove box off and get some degree of visual inspection on the harness.

Your goal is to get the live data to show "correct". Then, and only then, should you see about clearing the DTC.

Ok I pulled up that measuring value and it's getting short circuit to ground like you said. I pulled the glove box the wire on airbag closer to pass door was off at some point, can see pick marks on retaining clip. Two plugs go to in dash airbag so I'm pretty much just looking for damage on any of those wires?

Get tiny pins, make sure that got connected right and trace wiring for continuity according to wiring documentation.
BE AWARE not to touch igniters (airbag units or belt tensioner) those small meter voltage might deploy em and harm!!!

Someone else on here had the same problem and they said there is a fuseable link for passenger airbag plug that was tripped in there's. I'm looking for that now aswell

Never seen one but things are very dynamic.
- check for water damage - corrosion signs, use some good magnifying equipment, very misleading,
- inspect connectors very precisely, harness side, while ago I had those small connection(pinch) wire- metal in plugs , not pinched correctly and it was causing intermittent fault , what is very interesting it was temperature related -AMAZING , would never build such a connection if wanted to
