Working on a Bentley Continental, water drains under ECUs in the scuttle got blocked whole area under 4" of water. Leaked down to the KESSY in the floor pass floor (RHD), - KESSY destroyed no Ign/start action.
As per this thread : https://forums.ross-tech.com/index.php?threads/15997/ despite that being a later car, it has a very similar module except his is 3D0 909 137 F and mine is 3D0 909 135 L. EEPROM chip is the same so took it off the board, and copied the data, swapped it into a numbers matched used unit. No joy - still "immo on" on the dash and nothing else except radio, interior lights and door locks (not on fob)
Have checked all fuses and that the KESSY has all P+G. - Have factory WD.
Put Gnd and B+ to various wires on the KESSY to activate T15, ECU, acc relays, got the dash lit up ok, did an auto scan, cleared codes and did it again:
The KESSY had no data in it at all (as per scan above), though I could talk to it with teh IM508 and no keys were seen in the car. So I went back to it today having swapped the physical chip into the used unit, still no ign but now when I scan it I have more ID but no coding.
There is an autoscan on here of an 04 UK car so tried to enter that coding but it would not take it "incorrect number or procedure" - probably as there are codes set in it, or possible as I have not been able to get security access - Does anyone know the security number, tried a couple off here but no joy.
I did use an IM508 to extract the CS code and the 5 digit PIN from the ECU when I had the ign on last time.
Not sure why the coding is not there unless it was wiped when the KESSY got wet.
Looking for suggestions on best way forward please
