Awesome... I do want to get down to visit your lands! Been invited but have not had opportunity. Hope to get there one day.Bruce: the "critters" down here don't look anywhere near as cute (or as proud) as the ones that live in your neck-of-the woods- our critters (Macropus rufus) look like really large rodents!
PS: and our forests aren't as lush as yours (entirely different shades of green - shades of grey really)
Bruce: I'm reminded of a couple of sage old adages (both in the ancient Italian language);Carp diem & tempus fugit. So, my advice (since life is way too short) - make sure that your passport is in order, make sure that you allow plenty of time and just hop-on a plane (it's only a 24 hr flight)! We desperately need your American tourist dollars and at the current exchange rate (our "Pacific peso" has just fallen like a lead balloon), you probably only need to bring the amount that you would normally spend at McDonalds (I understand that this is the favoured eating venue for folk in your part of the globe)!Awesome...
