I perused, lurked, screenshot, researched, and persisted in diagnosing a double whammy eff up *takes a bow* that left my cruise control, esc, and vaq diff offline.
The resources in this forum (reference scans, patient patient threads about blank control modules) were absolutely vital. Sadly I can't thank Jack for his Problem Solving Guide, but it is what finally helped me kick myself into fundamental analysis* that finally paid off and got my 2017 GTI Sport back to her old self.
