I have a 2013 VW GTI MK6. My battery went dead. Bought a new VW battery at the local dealer.
The problem I'm having (And I know It's me) is downloading the code into the VAGCOM.
In the past I've watched all the YouTube videos and that's all I've needed for support but this time I'm stumped.
I have the CAN Non UDS.
Here's the process Ive Tried;
Select.
19CAN Gateway
Long Adaptation 0A
This brings me to the drop down menu. I'm looking for "Battery replacement" but it's not in the drop down.
The only items in the drop down are " Fatigue detection Rest assist" "Can extended usage" and "Platform Identification".
I did navigate to Channel 4 but I'm not sure this is the correct channel.
In the videos, I was instructed to input the model number, factory 3 digit code and serial number.
the stored value that is there now is 068 000 0000000000.
At this point I stopped. I also have downloaded the latest update 23.1
