Hey guys Curious if anyone here has SA code for chassis control module 74. I need to perform adaption and SA is required. I have tried 31564 and get error 37, I have also tried 20103 and get error 35. See attached log this vehicle was in accident and I need to adapt suspension.

Error 37 supposedly pertains to invalid key being entered and need to wait with ignition on however IDE00323 shows 0 which would mean i should be good. Any ideas?

Fully agreee with you, first of all the mechanical fault should be fixed and then Adaption of suspension shoulöd be done.

Mechanical faults are solved. However Left rear is sitting low and suspension is in service mode. Due to lack to deflection adaption. Which requires the vehicle to be up on the lift with wheels off the ground. All criteria are met however without login I cannot perform the deflection adaption.

Here is an test video, for a complete procedure for ASAM EV_ChassContrContiAU426.
We have not tried it for ASAM EV_ChassContrContiAU651 yet.
I have tried it 4 times with VCDS.
Urus is essentially a SQ8 same platform and drivetrains and so on. I will give it a shot. Is there any potential hazards as to trying to do that sequence? Or will it either do it or not? I was trying to perform deflection adaption but kept getting SA needed or login to perform that adaption.

- This code will enable both the calibration and the drain/fill functions.

You may just need to wait with the key on with a battery maintainer for a while, until the controller will allow you access.

Feedback is limited but considering you already have the Basic Setting of Deflected Position not Performed -and- you know the e-tron 55, Q7 and Q8 models based on dealer level experience I would try it. I do not believe it will make things worse.

put in 20103 and got Error 35 every time. However I will try the video with sequence above and see what happens. Ideally I need to grab my other laptop with ODIS on it so I can see what it will do with that as well. I will keep you guys posted.

I agree. If a SA code would be needed 20103 doesn't work on many of these #74 units. 24085 is accepted by my 2022 e-tron 55 but I have NOT attempted calibration on that car. (My house garage rack arms are too short to hit the lift points but I'm working on that)

Did u try 24085 ? I saw that is used in Q8 for example to some 2E UDS

I haven't tried that one. I will give it shot and see what happens. Would it be possible to compile a database of SA somewhere for future use as VCDS does not always give you a SA for most newer vehicles.

The closest thing we have at present isn't real new but:


Although that's Golf 7 based specific many of the SA codes carry over to other platforms. For instance 20103 is the most universal SA code in reasonably modern cars .... however 24085 is not. That particular thread won't help in all cases but it is handy.

Perfect thank you bookmarked, good to have just in case. That being said I mostly use ODIS but in rare cases I do grab my VCDS as things like coding are so much easier to deal with using VCDS. I will try to log my ODIS session to see if the log from ODIS does show the login code in the background.

Tried a SQ8 remote from a swiss customer today, but didn't have success. Got some error after starting sequence from @NEtech, but it seems car (ECU) had some issue so Workshop need to fix that first.

@Dana @NEtech will send you a trace log and Scans from Q7 last week. Just forget to send you these files

Ok guys so an update. Login 24085 is indeed the correct login for chassis control module 74. I still was not able to run the adaptions or basic settings on this vehicle. I have no codes stored in the chassis module other than the deflection no basic setting performed code. However I cannot perform this as I get error conditions not met or sequence. The only thing I did notice while checking thing was that the module itself does not see a voltage for terminal15 when looking at advanced measured values but does see battery voltage terminal 30. It looks like terminal 15 comes directly from J393. I think maybe this is my issue? Or perhaps another module. This one is driving me crazy for sure as all the sensor height in terms of readings were close roughly 2mm apart. Fronts were around 450mm and rears around 447mm give or take 2mm between left and right.

The thing that sucks is that this module is buried in front of the center console, I think I may have to pull it to check to see whats going on. I did try to do thing using my ODIS today also and kept getting this error that the raw hex data for the calibration could not be written into the module but gave no further explanation. I am starting to wonder if CP in a different module would affect this since a fair majority of modules talk to each other for various functions and systems. I think Im gonna need to check some wires unless anyone has any other ideas.

ODIS wasnt of much help. Error received but also didn't show the login code at all as you can see here in red. It looks like it doesn't like the deflected value possibly from one sensor possibly according to the raw hex data but i could be mistaken. However I don't know why it would fail to write the values in unless they are perhaps out of range.
