My hex-v2 will say port found until i plug it into my car. when i open vcd config everything is completely blank. It acts like it doesnt see my hex v2. Not sure what to do.

That behavior is typical of an illegally pirated clone, and since the serial number you provided when you joined the forum is also one that's printed on the label of many clones, I'm confident the problem is: You have a fake clone copy of a HEX-V2.
