How to change the number of blinks on a 2015 RS5

On the T2 series Touaregs I was able to change the number of blinks when overtaking by:

09 Central Electrics -> Adaptations -> Channel 1 -> change value -> test and save

On the RS any other channel than reset to factory (0?) gives a "Security Code required"

On my Golf I used 09-Cent. Elect., Adaptation - 10, Select Comfort Turn Signals (Cycle) from the combobox.

That will show Channel 31 and the Stored value (default) is 3. You can change the number of blinks from 1 to 5 using the up and down buttons enter the New value. Click Save when done and then click Done, Go Back.

Thanx Keith. I don't believe I saw a pull down menu at the top, but then again I was focused on the "slam dunk" doing it the Touareg way and just kept getting the above mentioned (error) warning. I did go up past (I bleieve) channel 31 by repeatedly selecting Channel Up. I'll give it a whirl... Cheers

I am not aware of a way to tweak the number of comfort turn signals in a B8+ (i.e. BCM1 and BCM2) vehicle.

Be aware that on some models, including the Octavia 2 FL, altering the number in the adaptations isn't in itself enough to change the settings. What is also required is a factory reset of the maxidot/MFD display on the dashpod as well.

Doing a factory reset will not lose any settings stored, (though the data will be reset) the only difference it will make is that if the time clock is set to daylight saving, it will revert to normal and will need the DST reactivating.
