VCDS Release 23.3.1 instalation update

I just got a prompt when I switched on my computer to update to the newest version of VCDS 23.3.1 as I currently have 23.3.0; what is the differences, should I update?

Actually there's no changelog for 23.3 and 23.3.1 afaik

I would, I guess they went to great lengths and cost to release it ?

Add to that it comes at no cost.

Is an update mandatory? No. They never are. But as stated, it's free.

There are some small improvements and bug fixes between 23.3.0 and 23.3.1. The main bug-fix was really only needed for translatable "OEM" versions, but we wanted to have all the version numbers in synch...

@Uwe , I know I'd surely very much appreciate to have a change/release log available when a new version comes out.

And others would too.
If you run your releases through a VCS like Github, you can build an automated process to write the CHANGELOG based on the commits you push for a particular release

Yeah, but so would all the clone/pirate copy sellers. Sorry, but I got really tired of seeing those in every eBay auction and on every clone seller's website.
