Transmission Shift Lever Stuck in Park - Key not come out of the Ignition switch

Hi, I spilled coca cola over the shift, and now the chrome button is stuck, and the key won't come out of the ignition switch. Please help.

Classic or diet?

First, VCDS can't remove liquids from your shift mechanism, so I've moved this to General VW/Audi Repair.

Second, if you want advice, it might help if you told people what kind of car this is.
