Just another Test:
- What do you measure of resistance between CAN-H and CAN-L when ignition is off (wait 60 Seconds after off).
- On my 2013 T5 with everythig possible retrofitted on engine can, i get 59 Ohm
- In My Table Setup with 01 03 09 15 i get 63 Ohm
I think i will measure resistance at B383 B390 where they join up, as the modules are on the same Route. i could also at the OBD connection.
with all modules connected,
I think the issue is on the Can - H side as no fuction on 6 of my Breakout box only Can - L and later do a test with reconnect the Eco 01 & leave ABS removed and see what info is then shown,

I think MQB started in MY 2013, but the Transporters have always been a bit different and not on the same upgrade cycle. In fact, the electronics in this one most resemble a PQ25 Polo.

where are you measuring from for Engine Can is it at the ecu connected or on the harness pins ecu disconnected
you say In My Table Setup with 01 03 09 15 i get 63 Ohm is that with them connected and where are you then measuring from

01 was both times connected
I will measure with all modules reconnected at B383 & B390 as you know they are still or should be at the BCM T73b/18 & 19,
Do you know where the J341 is located Headlight control module my drawings for stop/start type vehicle should be up by the clutch pedals
approx , The motors are going all the time when the headlights connectors are connected, so i thought check the module if i can find it ?

At OBD port i can check with my breakout box pin 6 Can h and Can -L pin 14 for activity and resistance & voltage at 6 to pin 4/5 gnd and 14,
i can see all activity for chassis and signal ground, power supply pin 16 etc, but not per module,

I had all modules connected and i coded in 2 Dona J519 & ohms at B383 B390 were approx 69 ohms including the new J519 ALSO 69, ohms
Do you know where the J341 is located Headlight control module my drawings for stop/start type vehicle should be up by the clutch pedals

I don't think that's a bug. The Gateway thinks it was able to talk to these modules, but for some reason, VCDS cannot. I'm not sure how real-time that Gateway status is. In other words, was the Gateway really able to talk to those modules at the time VCDS wasn't? Check MVBs 125 and 126 in the GW.

The vehicle is clearly broken somehow as evidenced by the faults in the Gateway.

Dash j285 fuse SB13 ok,, all Can H & L continuity all good to J519 J285 ohms at harness disconnected 67,ohms so no issues,
Connected to Cluster 65, ohms all good, T32/16 brown is GND to 636 floor 1.5mm to 4.mm checked OK

The only strange thing last time i tested the voltage for Can - H 3.12v. today it was 269v
& Can - L was 1.8v today 237v ?

All J234 Airbag module checks most checks ok,, except finding the GND im not 100% sure if it is 605 if it is there is no continuity
at the steering column, Ohms test at the harness disconnected was 68 ohms, Connected to the J285 It was 2.5 K, ohms
dnoermann What are you seeing on your bench Loom, not expecting 2.5 K
The Gnd If T50/46 To a 376 in Harness ) which it cant be as Left hand drive etc, and in the connector it is Blank no pin, DNOERMANN is it 605 AT COLUMN.? On your loom,
I'm doing the same checks for ABS etc

Page 35/2 for Airbag from August 2009 The page shows j234 unit , My question is the Gnd you can see it has no pin number at the J234
It is a black thin line to 13 location, But I cant identify it at the j234 Connector , i have not seen this illustration , not sure if it means
cable connection detachable ? Or it relies on the module to body for Gnd,? I cant see any cables at the j234 only the ones in the Connecter 1 to 50, there is a Gnd on some vehicles with different extras T50/46, My connector for this is empty no 46. do you know ?

Hi ive not been on here for a while, No not done anymore with airbag i will try when i get back to it clean the Gnd and re check coding.
i have the electric windows working & Have been working on the central locking as many problems with it,
I have a question for you Regarding the Central Locking Front Doors although some of the wiring linked to side Door & Rear Lid

My question is The J519 T73a/11 Violet colour wire i have no power coming out of it, When i operate the E150 switch to v56 Motor to LOCK say Drivers Door
pin 1 Bl/Yl of T73a/12 at J519 works as it should, But pin 2 Vi to B215 tree into J519 T73a/11 to the V56 motor NO power If i use vcds i have power
The only fuses i can see if anything Is sc20 sc28 which if removed dont effect the central locking so they are not for it and SF55 is for windows.
The j519 is Brand New i also have here 2 others but no joy, All continuity test are good to the J519, and the connectors in between to the F220 V56 Etc
and to N/s Door including the connectors in the A post
Can you see on your test loom any voltage when operating the central locking to LOCK T73a/11 output

Based on the "Connector assignment of onboard supply control unit -J519-" section "73-pin connector -T73a-" I think the BCM input for cent locks might be T73a/16 via Fuse 8 on fuse holder B -SB8- (Terminal 30 central locking). The output is labeled T73a/11 to the following components as you describe:

Contact strip in right sliding door -F352-​
Contact strip in left sliding door -F353-​
Driver door central locking motor -V56-​
Front passenger door central locking motor -V57-​
Rear right door central locking motor -V97-​
Rear left door central locking motor -V115-​
Rear lid locking motor -V120-​

If you are working with one of those massive PDF diagrams from erWin check the bottom of it to see if there's a section that has the terminal assignment of both BCM connectors. I think that will make your life a lot easier since mine shows the Input versus Output of each labeled terminal.

If you are working with the older XML/HTML type of individual wiring diagrams check the one labeled "Convenience system From November 2012" (diagram number 158) for hyperlinks that may offer that BCM connector view.

I am working with Elsawin i also have a Pdf from dnoermann but it is German, working with Convenience system From November 2012 my J519 pins for 73a connector T73a/16 via Fuse 8 on fuse holder B -SB8- (Terminal 30 central locking) i had also checked the yellow wire T73a/25 from E150 which i think is input for the J519 i will re look SB8 do you have a screen shot of the diagram that SB 8 covers or page number i had checked all fuses SB & Sc one by one but if i go back to SB 8 i can trace that if any issues there,, other than that it makes me wonder if the central locking switch is faulty although i have checked it and it should work i also had a spare one i checked should be ok, so i cant see it being switch, i have access to another one which i know is 100% good i just need to lend it to confirm Switch or not as it sends signal to get input for output , the only fuses suspect but not related to Central lock is SB 21 starter moter etc & 25 fresh air blower NO power at the fuse location,,, fuses are good, the blower Works ? as does the starter motor ? i know someone has played with the starter motor side ive not yet investigated that, one step at a time, regards

Dana forget the screen shot i have just traced SB 8, 15amp Diagram page ) power from SA9 so at least if any power issues to Fuse or to J519 T73a/16 i something to work with.

Yes that is what i do , i have had Elsawin for a while, i thought yesterday if the unlock is working the Fuse SB8 should be good as T73a/25 YL is like a duel wire at E150 pin 3 used to input Unlock and Lock I checked today and yes it is all good, continuity & Power so doesn't make sense it should unlock Via T73a/11 12 is unlock, the only thing regarding the Switch E150 as it only uses T73/a 25 Yl wire Pin 3 on E150 how does the Function know it is told to unlock or Lock
it is hard to tell 100% but i think in the Switch there is a Resistor which would make sense for the input to the J519 for Unlock no resistor to lock resistor.
do you have any views opinons on that because that is all that is left as sherlock holmes would say lol
