Here is a log of T5 2013 It has many faults as you can see & i am about to start checking out the faults, apart from the obvious
is there anything jumping out at you as it it has been quoted New OEM Engine Ecu and instrument Cluster & J519 bcm, which i did not install
the vehicle is as per the log The company who installed the new modules said they coded all the new modules ? They said they couldent do the key,
I have just oredered new interface.

Will you be kind and erase all faults and repost a fresh scan ? Many of the codes are intermittent and i have a hard time trying to understand what is it that you need help with. Thanks

Here is a scan With new Version of VCDS HEX- NET
This vehicle has many faults basically nothing works, My concerns are The Engine ecu,(01) the J519 Bcm,(9) Instrument cluster (17) Gateway (19) address
The Gateway Module & the other modules mentioned for Coding for all these modules would be a starting point, The company that bought these OEM parts new installed and Coded them ? The log shows many no signal/communication, or incorrectly coded,, The wiring on the vehicle for components i'm working on seem correct power/ Gnd including motors and switches, Vcds can output some of the items such as central locking, Electric windows are not recognised, can you take a look at this new scan after delete as ask for, and advise coding or basic setting required.
just one other thing,, this vehicle has stop start feature, & as far as i know the Gateway is intergrated in the Bcm. as it is after may 2012.


One other point is the Owner has bought a new Battery, Manufacturer yuasa, Which is not on the recommended VCDS menu, the Battery has a label serial number 10 Digits, so that should go in,, the only other Digits are YBX9096 i know the Vendor is usually 3 digits, so lets say i use YBX, That leaves 9096 Can i use this for the pt number, or is it no good at all, The invoice part number has ZGBYBX9096.

Does the van have start/stop? What type of battery is installed?
Try coding the 61-Battery Regul. module with: F3051800

As to why the Airbags and HVAC controller are off-line, you'll have to chase that with a wiring diagram and multimeter.

The battery in it when bought could be off anything, so decided to get new battery Of what VCDS vendor recommends, but owner bought
the battery described, Can you make anything of the Digits i have listed,

What do you think of the coding of the Bcm etc and do they need coding, if i need to do coding for the Bcm j519 For 2012/13 T5 do you have a link for the procedure,
this is my main concern at the moment and the Battery, The vehicle is i'm told by VW parts it is STOP/START type

Hi i'm told it all the new modules mentioned were done with ODIS i would if you could check On monday and let me know your findings
to clear it up, as far as i'm aware the modules inc coding were best part of 3k,,, and the van is a mess, it has been to other company's and the
problems still exist, i'm beginning to think it has Communication issues net work, as today had my kit on it NOT vcds and i have signal and chassis Gnd
Can L only i will be doing resistance etc checks next, VW i quoted the Pt number on the new BCM and one guy said not stop start/ then His colleague
said it is def Stop start elsawin says the Gateway was not in the bcm depending on type of vehicle but only till may 2012, this is sept 2012 i think
you will know by Vin. The company NOT vw used ODIS as you know you can buy it.

Hi thankyou can you give me the reason why not correct BCM as it is brand new so i need to correct it,
Is it a part number issue because we have been told the original pt number has been superseded
I need to get to the bottom of it as you can imagine the problems if the wrong BCM.

Without Stop Start System,) And WITH stop start, Databus interface j533 is Red 20 pin connector images looks like it is above the throttle/ brake pedal although it says behind dash panel near relay carrier cockpit which is to the right of the throttle pedal, it quotes 1-3 Models with Stop Start only & valid until may 2012, then another option quotes 2-4-5, which are for models says vehicles With Stop Start & without special purpose vehicle control j608,, 4, valid from 2012, 5, will be cancelled after oct 2012, so i thought right this vehicle should have a separate j533 gateway on its own above the pedals , BUT nothing is there only clutch switch , throttle pedal motor FBW, i thought this is the problem if it had 2 gateways ? wrong BCM,,, so phone vw and they say part number superseded and is for stop start,,? although the first guy said it is not stop/start vehicle, so you can see, can you be clearer as your reply say

can you explain, another part number ? do you mean there is a separate j533 and the J519 Bcm
I have seen the invoice for the new Engine Ecu the cluster & the BCM and told it was coded using ODIS ££ to server ? i listed the log as a lot of signal/comms problems and also modules that are supposed to be coded listed as not coded correctly.
My thoughts are if this vehicle were stop start then it should have a separate j533 as it is i think registered sept 2013. and the elsawin info points that way, yet vw say the bcm is for stop start which if i cant see a separate j533 it must be in the Bcm but elsawin quotes stop start vehicles j533 already mentioned the location 20 pin red connector too october 2012 if no j608,
