Unsupported vehicle. Please update to a current Ross-Tech interface

Hello, yesterday I was assisting a buddy with a 2019 GTI Mk 7.5 Hooked up the cable to try and read the DSG fluid temperature and could not access the Advanced Measured Values. Also had a popup with the thread title message. Any ideas why this would not work?

The HEX+CAN was introduced in 2004 and there's too much stuff in newer cars that old interfaces like the HEX+CAN can't handle. Modules that use new addressing modes that we can't support because the 16 kB of code space in the micro-controller was full to the brim with the last update; channels that are too big to for the very limited amount of RAM in that microcontroller to buffer. This started to be a problem in 2016, which is why we discontinued the HEX+CAN then and replaced it with the much more powerful HEX-V2.

I think the hex + can is useable with no problems up to 2016 -2017 or so
