Newbie user with P2006 issue

Hi folks,
as the title suggest i am a newbie at this and was hoping for some help.
I have a 2021 Amarok that has has some upgrades done to it. One of them is the elimination of the intake manifold butterfly/ swirl flap.
This has resulted in error codes (P2006 00 [039]) in my VCDS scans and the "check engine" light on the dash. My tuner is having issues resolving this for me.
I was hoping for some instruction on how to turn the butterfly off in the coding so i no longer get errors and lights on the dash.

The butterfly is an integral part of the engine control systems, so the likelihood of being able to eliminate it by a coding change is IMHO vanishingly small and the tuner will have to make changes too the firmware in the engine ECU to remove it.

Please post an Auto-Scan to confirm my thoughts.

The car runs perfectly well without the butterfly in place, it just throws error codes.
Initially when auto scanned it returned this error message:

I reported the above to the tuner who did make some unknown change to the map.
It must have made some difference because then on the second attempt, the warning light on the dash was no longer present but i got the following code in the follow up auto scan:

This is not something that can be done with a scan tool; it has to be done by modifying the firmware in the ECU. If the tuner you're currently using can't do it, then you'll have to find one who can.

Then again, if what he's done doesn't trigger the Check Engine light and with the DTC being "Not Confirmed", you might consider just living with it as is.

It got to a point where it was throwing error codes but the check engine light was not on. That i could live with.
But not the check engine light is back on and a) it annoys me, and b) i wont know if there are ever any other engine issues if it is always on.

Any suggestions what i may be able to do myself to get rid of the light?
(My tuner has been great but this is all being done remotely and is starting to become a bit tedious. I just want it done and dusted)

I think Uwe has already given you the answer - find a local tuner since no scan tool can fix it.
