Fitting aftermarket LED headlight and taillights - VW Amarok

Hi all,

Total newb here posting for the first time needing some assistance with errors and warning lights appearing after fitting aftermarket headlight and taillight assemblies to my 2013 VW Amarok. These are not LED bulbs but complete headlight and taillight units. These products were listed as plug and play, and i naively believed this claim so wired them up and got some errors. I have inserted the scan below.

I had searched other threads online and someone suggested the errors i am getting on the parking and back up lamps could be a resistance issue.

Any and all help is greatly apppreciated.

If you clear them to they return?
Do all lighting functions work?
19 faults appear to be due to incorrectly adding RVC address 6C to installation list, as well as an aftermarket radio at 56 which does not repond to diagnostics.
You can safely ignore these faults or remove 56 and 6c from 19 installation list.

If i clear them, they still return.
On the rear lights they function normally, but the light bulb warning light pops up when i shift into reverse only, although the reverse light also functions as intended.
The front lights on the left handside function normally without error, but the right hand side one does not. The lights are setup such that by turning on the park lights this turns on the daytime running light function on the headlights. When i switch the park lights on, the right headlight turns the DRL on and off and cycles through this. The blinker and high and low beams function without a problem.
The wiring harness on the car has 9 active pins (1 - 6, 8-10) on the connector for the headlights, however the aftermarket light only has 5 active pins on its connection (5,6, 8-10).

With regard to the reverse camera and headunit i assumed these were not important so i had ignored them.

The lights came with no instructions or paperwork included in the box for either the front or rear lights.

All your auto-scans are automatically saved to your computer.
This computer -> Windows (Cdrive -> Ross-Tech -> VCDS -> Scans
I'm pretty sure the new lights need coding (I mean the control unit ofcourse)
Maybe the old control unit doesn't support coding for the new lights?
Take a look in 09 Centr. Elec. -> coding -> long coding helper
That's where my lighting functions are stored.
Don't just change stuff there as it can break the module. Also make a copy of your original coding before making any changes.

And finallly left and right indicator. Tell us when any warning light comes on and the behaviour of the lights.

I applied the suggested coding and it cleared all the error lights, so thank you for that.

However, the functioning of the front lights remains unchanged. I have attached a link to a video showing exactly what happens.

Initially i thought the coding had resolved the issue as when i turn the accessories on in the car and turn of the park lights, they functioned properly, and so did the high/low beam and indicator. When i turned the engine on though, the problem with the park lights returned and they started cycling, trying to turn on, then off as can be seen in the video. Its strange that they work when the engine is turned off, but start glitching when the engine is turned on. All other lights function as intended except for the park lights. In my previous scan only the right park light was throwing up an error, but now both left and right park lights are throwing up the same error.

If you can suggest anything else i should try, that would be appreciated.

I tried that coding with the same results. No warning lights appeared, same as the last coding you had suggested, but the lights performed exactly the same way. The lights worked with accessories on, but once the engine was turned on the pulsing of the lights front and back returned, per the video.
