Greetings everyone!
Before I get going, I offer this sacrifice to the forum gods...
That said...
I'm having quite a time trying to get the car back to its normal program ride height. After replacing the front sir struts with a set of Arnotts when the originals failed (after 16 years), the front end sits about 20-25 mm lower than what it should be according to the factory specs (380-385 vice 405). The rear still sits at the correct program height. The car doesn't sag over time in the front, so I don't suspect a defective replacement unit, nor does it even attempt to lift the front end when the car starts, which leads me to believe it's a sensor calibration issue.
I've stepped through the module 34 adaptation process (after entering the security code), and I run into one of two issues. Either I enter the actual value as the process intends (currently about 380mm), and it tells me that's invalid and boots me out of the process, or I try to trick it by saying it's at 395mm (which is valid but lower than what it should be, my logic is I can increment it back up to where it should be), but the height doesn't change after successful completion.
So, here I am. Anyone have any ideas? What am I doing wrong?
