Speed difference between cruise controle speed and gauge speed on instrument cluster

However it could also be something on rick86's computer that is formatting it this way. One way to be sure: go to Options, put 1024 as the Debug level, Save, and without closing VCDS do your autoscan. Then close VCDS and send us (support@ross-tech.com) the Debug-17.DLM file that you will find in the Debug folder where you installed VCDS. This is will tell us exactly what the control module is sending.

I have 4 Autoscan with 4G8 920 932 D, out of 29, that do the carriage return 2 after Revision 28460

i just did a run with live data (see below). I had the cruise controle speed set at 105km/h, al the speeds were reading 104/105 except the bottom one. that one said 99km/h so my that channel is the one thats not showing the correct speed. Now i'm wondering, is it possible to callibrate that channel ? or somebody know witch sensor feeds that channel.

The controller replies

to the revision query from VCDS. So it's not something on the computer, it's really putting a newline+carriage return in that answer before the digit '2'

It means that the unusual looking line break in the scan output from your instrument cluster are due to something the instrument cluster sent, not something weird with the computer you're using or a bug in VCDS. Also, Niels has some other scans where this has happened as of Revision 28460, so from our perspective, this appears to be a bug in that cluster. This then raises the question: Is the incorrect display of cruise control speed another bug it in?
