I wanted to improve the transmission so tried using the VCDS. I’m knew to this but followed procedure as shown on Ross Tech. Once I got to the 02 then 04 Basic settings for transmission I was given a drop down menu for reset basic settings. I pressed that, pressed go and it started. The instructions said it could take 2-5 minutes. It just kept on going. I had to stop it quite a few times even waiting over 25 minutes when I couldn’t hold my foot on brake any longer. My transmission has since gone really crappy and I can’t drive car safely. Can anyone help. I am using newest software.
