What exactly is wrong with the radio?

The coding doesn't look far off. In fact, it's no obvious to me why it thinks it's "Incorrectly Coded".

OK, one speaker is flagged "Open Circuit". That will have to be hunted down with a multimeter.

I removed Radio and unplugged it. I also refitted some door cards. After replacing no sound or very low treble sound! The scan comes back with two faults bass speaker left hand door and wrong code or something similar..Checked speaker at door no definate issue accept plug a lit green oxidised? Guess its more likely I damaged a wire at speaker connection plug or in the loom or near door checked wiring at door no problems that I can see? Guess I will need to check wires for continuancy or unravel black cloth coating to find any broken wires. Worse still I could have damages something in radio although I was reasonably carefull removing it..The diagnositics advice is a little vague and I am not great at intepretatation of faults.. Just where to start Radio wires or speaker or Radio coding. I think maybe I'm over-complicating it...Not sure what too look at first as it could be one of 4 Things?

Check the wiring and connectors you disturbed while working in the door, and also that the connector in the back of the radio is fully seated and locked.

Time for the multimeter and the mark 1 eyeball :thumbs:

Turns out I have green connectors at speakers...Plus all speakers are shot nothing at rear doors soundwise driver side gone and passenger side rubbish! and very poor tweeters..Guess 12 years or more of use warrants a new set! Funny because week before when I purchased the vehicle had reasonable sound onto the other list of faults secondary water pump - airbags - steering. The list grows OMG the fun of second hand cars...Thanks for advice Uwe and PetrolDave :)
