Central Locking

Good Day
M.Y. 2011 Golf VI GTI DSG,

Transmission was recently replaced with a new one from VW South Africa, at no charge only paid for labour. However since I got the car (no Issues with the transmission) but the central locking seems to be disengaged. (Thats from start to drive the doors dont lock). I cannot perform a VCDS check right now, is there anything in the meanwhile I can check.

Without seen a scan, it's really hard to say, but some cars do have an option for that in the MFI menus in the instrument cluster.

It may have just been deactivated. If so, its easy enough to re-activate when you 'can perform a VCDS check'; and post us an Auto-Scan...

My central locking does not even show up on a scan. It went dead and I did everything right up to replacing the unit. It sill does not show up in scans. Drivers door C/l switch does not work either. IMMO works

I wouldn't expect "Central Locking" to show up in a scan on Golf VI.
