I decided to open up my ECU. Found a break in the copper path just after the pin location for ground on PIN 50. I tried soldering it with my little to no experience with this. Somehow, I managed to fix it.

Not sure how to post pictures so you guys can critique my work LOL.

Driven car for 30 miles. So far no check engine light. Car is running fine until it gets warmed up. Shifting very hard.

Especially from park to reverse and 4th to 5th gear.

I checked ATF temp. It’s starts to shift hard around 82 degrees Celsius. My guess is that the valve body may need to be replaced.

Transgo do a shiftkit fot the 09G you could try - much cheaper than a valve body and seems to have good results.
