A/C condensor removal ? V10TDI

Anybody remove A/C condensor on 06,T1, without excessive part removal?

Hello,

Although I have found a lot of 'short cuts' over the many years of repairing VAG vehicles, I would say since the condenser is mounted/sandwiched to the radiator and is fragile, it would be best to remove the part as per the Official Factory Repair Information.

would that mean front end removed ?

Hello again....

Yes, I would remove the "front end". As it would be best and it is not that hard to remove the front grill/bumper cover. You may have to 'move' the "Lock Carrier" into the "Service position".

For real, the Official Factory Repair Information has some awesome information and well worth the small investment!
