A properly installed helicoil should take more load than the original thread in the alloy. if its pulling out there is either not enough metal around it to take the larger drill and tap for fitting the helicoil or it has not been fitted correctly.

cheers

Thanks for reply I think I tightened the bolt up to much and it stripped the threads I am going to get it Heli-Coil and get a bit longer bolt as it does use all the threads with oe one thanks

time-serts take a bit more space / metal to install but yes stronger if there is room. Always use a torque wrench set to the specified value for bolts into alloy castings

cheers

My understanding is there is a code on each injector that is its basic setting that needs to be input via VCDS. The ECU then adjusts the injection quantity up or down from this base setting based on the sensors data. You need to look at this adjustment value as any large deviations can indicate an injector problem.

White smoke is generally a sign of a leaking injector(s) allowing fuel continually into the cylinder(s). Injector reconditioning and testing appears to not be very reliable at detecting or fixing this leakage for what ever reason.
