I've helped a friend retrofit hadlex awd into a 2010 Skoda octavia vrs 2.0tsi dsg. The awd all functions correctly! We're having issues getting the abs to play ball!
At first the original abs unit was throwing codes for incorrect unit fitted and G251 sensor no basic setting. I realised that the 2wd abs unit doesn't have the G251 built into it, so my friend sourced an awd unit. We've fitted the unit and all the basic settings have worked, but obviously the coding is now the issue! I copied the original abs unit coding before removal as I knew we'd need it, but the new abs unit will not take any coding, it just throws the error 31 coding out of range code. I did realise the coding was a byte shorter on the new abs unit coding so I tried to drop 00 off the end of the original coding, this still didn't work.
