i don't think you're doing anything wrong , i haven't had a 2018 VW Crafter for a diagnosis yet but for sure the older years (2008-2014 0 would link up to the ecu through LT3 tab since they are using a different protocol or something ( never was sure about it either ). Maybe the VCDS doesn't have a ROD file for that vehicle yet ? Maybe the boss will help us both understand this problem
just a small type error, its actually a 2017 model, sorry about that

hereis the values on injectors, so the 1 injector was around the 40 number which was number 2 so we replaced it and now their all the same

now you seem to have a problem with your number 4 injector ? There was a problem with the number 3 also, which one did you change ?
yea i saw that now, not sure whats going on, if i rev it to around 1600rpm then there is no misfire, just on idle and to around 1400rpm the van shakes slightly

well here the thing: i am speaking now from another side of the road as this procedure is done on Mercedes Benz , newer than 2013 Sprinter model , 2.1 liter. After injector change on that specific model some adaptations need to be run for the injection system to calibrate the injection rate, injection pump speed, injection quantity valve . I've done few of them after injector change, piston repairs and engine swaps. NOW i am not sure if some sort of this procedure applies to the newer model of Crafter vans. So maybe you need a adaptation/calibration/learning of injection system or just writing the injector codes should be ok on this model ? As i've not had the pleasure to work on one of this, i defer to more informed people on this matter , surely i'd like to be prepared to take the right action should the need arise in the future on this matter

I was thinking the same, and i looked at some videos on people coding 1.6 tdi vw injectors and then doing an "adaptation" called "IDE02637 adaptation for metering quantity measurement" but this only gives me a value that i can type in and the current value is number 4 so not sure what i need to do on this, at basic settings there is IDE02703 reset learned values quant meter unit and press contr valve" i did this but still same misfire around 1400rpm and lower, smooth engine above this

Used another scan tool, found a fault code24838 (P100600) Torque difference cylinder 3. Limit value exceeded (static fault)

Number 3 injector is brand new

IDE12085 Fuel injection time deviation: cylinder 1 -86 µs
IDE12086 Fuel injection time deviation: cylinder 2 -86 µs
IDE12087 Fuel injection time deviation: cylinder 3 87 µs
IDE12088 Fuel injection time deviation: cylinder 4 87 µs
Well, I don't know what the values indicate but compared with another engine (below) they seem to be very far away from each others - cyl 1 & 2 are (minus) 86 µs, and cyl 3& 4 are +87 µs.

Below a snippet from a log from an engine 04L-906-056-KN (Transporter T6) on idle after two hour drive. The samples are taken approx. one/minute (time stamps on top row hh:mm:ss).

Over the two hour drive they averaged as follows (132 samples, sampled at one minute intervals). Under load the values seemed to converge to zero.

yea so they were something like this before the injector has been changed and swopped over to get them all the same, i have no idea what they mean either but they are now similar and not like this where the one was -40

doubt thats the problem because the injector comes with a new seal installed already and there is 1 bolt that holds down injector 3 and 4 with the same bracket, all torqued correctly
