I'm a gonna throw this in there, it's one of my favorite all time YT videos from Romania. I'll let you comment on it as everything I touch turns political.

Oh yeah..that is true..get 50 kms out of Bucharest or from other few bigger cities and it s like you went back in medieval times. Comparison : Las Vegas NV. ..then go to Pahrump NV. Another universe

Shoshone and Death Valley Junction are also very wild wild west...

I love the West. So different from the East where we live near Philly.

Sometimes a simpler life ..brings simpler problems ...just not as many headaches as in *modern cities *. In the countryside of Romania , you sow , you reap , you eat.

I was impressed by the vastness of nowehere UTAH. Just rock and desert...Mars like . West Virginia is also beautiful ..poorest state...yet magnificent scenery .

I go to a place in southwest VA where life is simple...no people for at least a mile, spectacular beauty, everything is very very nice. AND... it has simple machines on which I get to play as my avatar shows.
