VCDS-Mobile, what am I looking at here?

It's been a few years since I setup my VCDS-Mobile but I still tend to use it twice a year and whenever I plug it in and connect to it via my phone I can get the expected interface. Today I got the attached screen. You can clearly see I'm connected but what is going on here? Why no interface?

Is this expecting now to be more on my WIFI rather then a direct connect?

It should show up there, yeah. In AP mode the interface should have an IP address of 192.168.0.1 If you enter that address manually in the web browser on your phone while you are connected to the interface, can you access VCDS-Mobile successfully like that? What is the status of the LEDs on the interface?

I got to it via my browser and the IP. Thx. I don’t understand….did VCDS used to be it’s own browser Or did it forward to a browser?

The VCDS-Mobile app uses a "web view" control, which is a browser window, but exactly what browser presents the contents of that window is determined/controlled by the underlying OS.

What device are you having this issue with? Is it an iProduct or Android, or...?

I use an iPhone (or iPad) and it's currently running Ver. 15.1 (latest) on my phone for this discussion.
