VCDS not working on a T-Roc?

Hello!


I have a new T-Roc in my workshop but cannot communicate with the auxilliary heater. Obcviously is there some update I need to do, but although I updated the system still not work :-(
Can someone advice me about the progress, VCDS Sweden is hard to contact and I know that this forum is often much better (and faster).

You are probably using an older HUC Interface which works for cars until approx. 2016 but for newer cars you will need a HEX-V2 or HEX-NET Interface as the Volkswagen Group came up with a new CAN BUS protocol.

... or upgrade your existing cable (which as said cannot be made to work on newer vehicles due to the extent of the changes made by VAG) to either a HEX-V2 or a HEX-NET (if you need WiFi capability).

Chcek with your Ross-Tech importer in Sweden if they offer an upgrade program, if not Ross-Tech do one themselves.

Actually it's an old Auto-Intern interface, sold through the Swedish distributor before the original guy retired and the business changed hands.
