I have been working my way up to performing this retrofit since i got the passat almost 3 years ago! I purchased the replacement headlights as below.

A friend helped install the headlight and the main beam, cornering lights and auto levelling work just fine with the replacements. The issue is that after enabling Dynamic Light Assist in controller A5, we receive message "Fault: light assist" in MFD and the high beams don't work however High Beams probably due to light assist not working as it is now a roller instead of shutters.
So far the following Coding has been performed
Controller A5, Byte 2, Check Bit 1
Controller 09, Byte 11, Check Bit 3
Controller 09, Byte 11, Check Bit 3
I am sure that something is missing, does anyone have any ideas on this? I believe that we are almost there with coding.
