I am following the instructions he sent but i don't get the pop up box asking me to confirm.

I see the problem. You're using a legacy interface. Mode change isn't supported by those.

You shouldn't receive a pop up. Once you enter inside the EOL session following the instructions you received, you have to go to adaptation, enter the fec and after that go back to basic settings and transfer the swap codes.

Your unit does not support wireless carplay and for the voice control, is the unit hacked? It does not accept self generated fecs without hacking.
