@stefdds I highly doubt the issues are the same as those present 5 years ago.

@PinoySaMI , please allow the office to open and let others have a look at what is going on. We ask your patience.

In the meantime, posting an autoscan may give some clues as to what is going on.

Five years ago? There are several in that link/search from 2019,20, and 21 .

What module(s) are you getting it on, and on what car?

Given that your HEX-NET is seven years old, you may want to clear the ROD data set entirely, let VCDS-Mobile do an Auto-Scan (which won't won't find any RODs at all) and then do another update.

Thanks to your previous comments, I was able to partition my Mac and now I have a windows 10. I was able to update my hex-net for the first time.

It is now up to date.

I am getting this no ASAM found message in our 2018 Audi Q5.

how come after I did the ASAM update using my iPhone, it says “no update available or I’m up to date” but when I used an iPad it says “no ASAM found”.

it is different from one gadget to another?

Based on what I see, sometimes the VIN is missing and then the ASAM data can not be correctly located. You might want to try [Options]->[Clear Dataset Cache] and also clear rod files in VCDS-Mobile to make sure it is not a conflict with old data.

There is also an alpha CB on the testing channel with several VIN related fixes, if you want to test this we could put your interface on the alpha channel and it might help fix the cases where the VIN is missing.

Hello,
I also have trouble with ASAM update at newer car. I tried with deleting ROD files and also cleared dataset cache. I'm already on BETA channel. This doesn't help.
I always get into endless loop, to make ASAM update.
I already loaded files into cloud, if you like to have a look.

I encountered exactly the same problem.

spanzo you are missing some rods because the VIN isn't always retrieved. I put your interface onto the alpha release channel, there is an update there for the vin retrieval, please update to that and then autoscan again and try the asam update.

winmarc you also have cases of a missing vin. I put your interface on the alpha channel as well, please test that update as per above.
