The sensor fault is likely to be the magnetic ring on the back of the wheel bearing, it rusts, breaks up and can damage the sensor so we always replace both using Febi parts. With the ABS happy about the signal, the steering warning should clear after a driving a few hundred meters plus some steering lock to lock when stationary.

Thank you all for suggestions and help. I will perform the basic settings for MK60 first as mentioned by Ross-Tech documentation and let you know.

The ABS sensor problem is on the rear left wheel. Have to check the electric plug. The wheel bearing is new, only I put back the old sensor. Maybe the sensor is bad or the electric plug isn't siting correctly. I heard the sensor can be tested for resistance and AC voltage.

Like for the parking aid sensors. I replaced the electric plug because I broke the lock on the original one. I am getting an error on that one too because of something wrong I did, maybe wasn't carefully enough with the wiring.

Will it perform the setting with an ABS hard code? I very rarely have to do the angle sensor basic setting.

Hello! I did the procedure for basic settings on G85. Apparently the error disappeared for G85 but for it didn't work 02546 - Steering Limit Stop. Maybe is because I didn't work yet on solving the wheel speed sensor issue. What worries me is that on Group 004 the value from first field isn't changing when turning the steering wheel. It stays always at 0°.

Yes, I did that also immediately after 00778. I have some doubt though about plus/minus 10° because the first field from Group 004 seems not to move, it remains always at 0°. Of course this is ideal but it should also move when moving the steering wheel.

I am thinking also that if error 02546 didn't disappear it could mean that I should address first the wheel speed sensor first.

Also, after performing the procedure for 00778 I am feeling the steering wheel harder to turn. It means that is not electrically assisted anymore.

Yes, it should change. Something is wrong there.

How hard? Our old 8P A3 had a total failure at one point (rodents chewed the wiring to the steering box) and it was VERY hard.

Not very hard. Initially was very light but after performing the procedure for 00778 it become harder. Will repair the wheel speed sensor then will try again.

Can the wheel speed sensor be tested by moving the wheel while having the car in the air, and VCDS being able to read the small amount of electricity generated?

Yes, I think you should be able to see it move, but a much better test is whether all the wheel speeds are the same when the car is driven straight ahead.

Incidentally, it's not a question whether VCDS can see it. VCDS can only tell you what the car sees and is willing to report. ;)

After replacing the ABS sensor and solving the electrical problem at parking sensors the error for steering angle disappeared after taking the wheel full right and full left.

No more errors now. Thank you all!

Hello, I would need to check the reading for injector quantity. I was trying the 013 Group but seems not be available in my case. Could it be somewhere else for MK60? Thank you

Huh? One does not check injector quantity in 03-ABS Brakes.

Try 01-Engine. Group 13 should be there. :)

I'm not sure what to tell you about that. AFAIK, it should be there for that ECU.

Is the ECU tuned/mapped?
