Audi R8 V10- Unknow controller - Need more info!!!

Bought the car with this - see link. It seems that it’s hooked up to the car upon pressing the 1st button on the top (program) the small LED lights up (right below) Amber, red and green. The car seems to open up on Amber and much more on Red. Nothing happens in green. Also I noticed that when this controller is off, nothing noticeable is happening when factory sport mode button is pressed. Anyone know what this is and who made it?

If I had to speculate, I might think it was some tuner's program selection device.

It clearly has a cable. What is that cable connected to?

Thanks guys for the input. Yes it seems the device is hooked up to the ECU and each LED has a certain program to it. I will dig a bit more and perhaps contact the previous owner.

After a few research, I have concluded that this is a pedal tuner made by BMS. Apparently, there are more products out there made to tune the gas pedal of mostly german cars, Audi, Porshe, and BMW. I would suggest trying one and feel the extra horsepower difference from stock. I was like WOW....

in EU, many cars with CNG , use a additionall Gas meter like this

Technically its not an an additional tune or any extra horse power you are feeling. It simply alters the zero position of the accelerator to a higher position making the ecu think you have pressed the pedal more than you have physically. Can be a bit of a pain to drive in stop start traffic as its difficult to feather the throttle
